I was given this book as a three year old little girl and spent hours reading the adventures that unfolded from it on my grandfathers knee. Today 40 yrs later my grandfather has gone and the little girl has grown up but this book still sits on her shelf and is still read fondly regularly with a smile at memories faded but never gone ... just like albert the magic pudding ... those memories grow every time she comes back.

The watercolors are so charming, and so is the cover of the 1918 book. I will look for the 2008 edition.

I am going to be posting a pudding recipe soon and plan to use the cover of the book as an illustration.

Thank you.
